Road & Car Park Line Removal

Clean removal of redundant lines, symbols and lettering before a re-design — leaving a surface ready to remark rather than a set of confusing ghost markings.

Overmarking a changed layout leaves drivers reading two sets of lines at once. We remove the old markings properly, choosing the method to suit the surface: hydroblasting for minimal damage, shot or grit blasting for heavy thermoplastic build-up, and masking or overbanding where full removal is not appropriate.

Removal and remarking are usually carried out in the same visit, so the site only closes once.

What's included

  • Hydroblasting (high-pressure water)
  • Shot and grit blasting
  • Thermoplastic and paint removal
  • Symbol, lettering and roundel erasure
  • Temporary marking masking
  • Removal plus remark in one visit
